Porsha Stewart Calls Divorcing Kordell ‘Heartbreaking’ On ‘RHOA’ Premiere

Porsha Stewart Calls Divorcing Kordell
Porsha Stewart Calls Divorcing Kordell ‘Heartbreaking’ On ‘RHOA’ Premiere, Porsha reveals everything Kordell said during the couple’s divorce deposition, saying it was ‘really, really hard to listen to.’

After watching it play out live in the media months ago, Real Housewives of Atlanta fans finally got an inside look at Porsha Stewart‘s divorce from Kordell Stewart on the show’s Nov. 3 season premiere — and it was just as painful to experience the second time around.

“Seeing Kordell at the deposition today was like an out-of-body experience,” Porsha said during a confessional. “For me to be on one side of the table, and to have my husband on the other side, and we’re trying to work out how to separate, was just heartbreaking.”

Thankfully, Porsha had mom Diane and sister Lauren to lean on for support.

“It was terrible,” Porsha told Diane and Lauren. “When they asked him the tough questions, he was actually honest and forthright with it. I don’t know if it’s because he knew he was under oath, but he actually told the truth. … To actually hear him say, ‘She wasn’t home at a certain time, so I locked her out,’ that was really, really hard to listen to.”

Porsha Stewart: Kordell Has ‘No Exact Reason To Divorce Me’
Porsha thought the deposition would give her peace of mind, or at least enlighten her as to why Kordell decided to end their marriage, but Kordell disappointed her once again.

“I was like, ‘I’m going to find out everything I need to know, and I’m going to know exactly why he filed on me,’” Porsha told her family. “But after that entire deposition, he had no factual reason — no exact reason — to divorce me.”

Mom Diane recalled her own painful divorce, her heart breaking for Porsha.

“I went through it, but I swear to God, I never ever wanted my daughter to have to go through this,” Diane said. “She didn’t do anything wrong. [She loved] her husband like the Bible says to love him. He just was the wrong damn one!”
