Valley of the Dolls' returning "Precious" director Lee Daniels is turning Jacqueline Susann’s novel, "Valley of the Dolls," into a TV series for NBC. The novel, which reportedly has sold 30 million copies, has been made into a movie,a mini-series and a soap opera.
