But Emma Watson was anything but a wallflower at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie last night (Monday) when she suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet.
The 22-year-old actress found that her backless dress was slightly too revealing as she posed up for photographers, with the side of the outfit slipping to reveal her breast.Luckily, Emma had thought ahead and was wearing a nipple daisy to protect the majority of her modesty, quickly correcting the malfunction before happily posing up on the red carpet once again.

Other than her fashion error, Emma managed to look stunning for the event in the nude dress, which featured three layers of lace and highlighted her waif-like figure.

To complement her ensemble, Emma opted for simple but effective make-up, with classic red lipstick and dark eyeliner.The British actress finished her outfit off by wearing her hair slicked back away from her face, and went jewellery-free to ensure all the attention was on her showstopping gown.

The film is a coming-of-age story based on the best selling novel by Stephen Chbosky, and sees Emma star alongisde Logan Lerman (3:10 to Yuma) and Ezra Miller (We Need to Talk About Kevin) in the story of an introvert freshman who is taken under the wings of two seniors.

Emma plays the role of Sam, Patrick's (played by Miller) free-spirited step-sister, whom Charlie (played by Lerman) falls for.After nine Harry Potter films, this is the first major role for Watson.
She had a smaller role in last year's My Week With Marilyn, and has voiced Princess Pea in the animated Tales of Despereaux.

The movie is also a first for director Stephen Chbosky, who wrote the novel and has written 22 episodes of the TV series Jericho.The usual mash-up of A through D-list celebs turned out for tonight's premiere.

Rumer Willis arrived looking sultry in a floor-length black gown with a daring double split to her thighs.

Actress Nina Dobrev looked stunning in a red strapless dress, which had an unusual lace arm piece.Dancing With the Stars pro Peta Murgatroyd took a spin in a cream dress with black and orange geometric shapes.

Twilight's Bonnie Wright, meanwhile, looked gorgeous in a cream shirt over black pants and heels.
Former Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson hit the red carpet in tight skinny jeans and a silver sequined top, while Private Practice star Kate Walsh opted for a racy black dress with sheer sleeves and a very low-cut back.

More than 34 million people caught at least some of the Royal Wedding coverage through the BBC, including on its iPlayer service, reports BBC News. Sky News said it had a peak of 661,000 viewers at the start of the wedding ceremony, while BBC Two, Channel 4 and Five only made up 1 per cent of the audience as the nuptials began. William and Kate's service is now in the all-time top 10 programmes in the UK, but drew less viewers than the 1966 World Cup Final (32.3 million) and Princess Diana's funeral in 1997 (32.1 million).
