Dina Lohan on Dr. Phil

Dina Lohan on Dr. Phil: Erratic Behavior Leads to Accusations of Being Drunk, Dina Lohan has been accussed of being intoxicated while conducting an interview with Dr. Phil recently. However, the mother of Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has since stated that it was simply poor editing that led to her drunken appearance.

In a video advertising the next episode of Dr. Phil, which will air Monday, Dina Lohan appears as Dr. Phil's guest. But in the footage, she has also been accused by some as having strange behavior, leading some to suggest she was drunk. She has denied the suggestions.

The first segment of the video refers to the interview with Dina Lohan as a rare opportunity. When going over names that Lohan has been called Dr. Phil reads "worst mother in America" and "worst mother ever."
"That is so mean," Dina responds.

Dr. Phil also accuses Dina of making money by taking commission off of her daughter and lying about what she is doing. Dina denied all the accusations out right, but at some point her responses became unintelligible prompting some to believe the she is intoxicated.

"You're in your little tie, your little shoes," Dina begins laughing.

Dr. Phil then asks her what that was supposed to mean.

"You come on here flitting around, being phony," Dr. Phil charges.

"Oh stop, I'm not flitting around," Dina responds. "I'm being scrutinized. By you people."

At some point a man questions whether Dina Lohan was drunk before she did the interview.

"Can I go home now?" she asks, as Dr. Phil points out Lindsay's arrest record for drugs and alcohol.

Lindsey Lohan's highly publicized drug and alcohol problems have often been blamed on her upbringing and troubled childhood.

In the past few months the star has attempted to recover her career, starring in the Lifetime film "Liz and Dick" in addition to other film roles. But controversy continues to surround the former Disney star, the latest surrounding accusations of stealing jewelry.

Dina has since denied being drunk during the interview, and blames the way the video segment was edited.
"I don't care what it looks like. I'm fine and I don't care what anyone says," she told TMZ. "All people saw was two minutes edited of an hour long interview. Of course they cut it to make it interesting. That's their job. I don't blame them for doing that. Some of the comments were taken out of context but I'm fine. I'm fine."
