Ali Vincent on the Biggest Loser

Ali Vincent on the Biggest Loser, Ali Vincent, the first woman to win the NBC weight loss show "The Biggest Loser," is getting her own television series. The 36-year-old's new reality show, "Live Big with Ali Vincent," is set to debut on the ABC-owned Live Well HD cable network on September 4 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. It will see her traveling across the United States as part of "a personal mission to help others discover their true selves," according to a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com on Friday.

"Highlights will include poignant transformational moments as Ali and her team of experts motivate participants to take control of their futures and live the lives they always imagined," the statement said. "Additional segments will offer viewers advice on cooking, working out and living happier and healthier lives."

The series is produced by KABC Television, parent company of OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Vincent, a 5'5" former competitive synchronized swimmer, lost almost half of her body weight during her time on the fifth season of "The Biggest Loser," which aired in 2008. She started out at 234 pounds and weighed 122 pounds when she won the competition.

"When I was training for the finale, I was training like an Olympic athlete to win," Vincent told OnTheRedCarpet.com exclusively. "It was not healthy for me to stay at 122 pounds with 11 percent body fat, as I lost my menstrual cycle."

"I live my life between 125 and 130 pounds, depending on the time of the month, and my body composition has changed to around 18 percent body fat," she added. "I honestly got too skinny immediately after and am up to probably 140 pounds today. But that is what 'Live Big' is all about for me. Finding balance, feeling comfortable in our own skin and living the life of our dreams through conversation and building support systems."

Vincent lives in Spokane, Washington. She has in recent years worked as a motivational speaker and released a book called "Believe It, Be It: How Being the Biggest Loser Won Me Back My Life" in November 2009.

The show started production in June and continues to film, mostly in Los Angeles. Vincent has posted messages about it on her Twitter page.

Vincent continues to maintain a healthy lifestyle. She competes in triathlons. Her workout playlist is posted on her Facebook page.

On Wednesday, she Tweeted: "I just got amazing veggies and flowers from the Farmers market, have you been to your Farmers market?"
