39 year old Victoria Davey “Tori” Spelling (born May 16, 1973) is an American actress and author. Her first role was Donna Martin on Beverly Hills, 90210 in 1990. She appeared in a string of made-for-television films, such as A Friend to Die For (1994) and Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? (1996). Spelling also rose to prominence through independent films such as The House of Yes (1997) and Trick (1999). She reprised her prominent role in the spinoff, 90210 in 2009.

Her autobiography, sTORI Telling, debuted on top of the New York Times Best Seller list and was named the best celebrity autobiography of 2009.

Divorced from playwright Charlie Shanian, Spelling is married to Dean McDermott and they have four children: Liam, Stella, Hattie, and Finn.

Victoria Davey Spelling was born in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Candy (née Marer; born 1945) and Aaron Spelling (1923-2006). She has a younger brother, Randy, also a former actor who currently works as a life coach. Her ancestors were immigrants from Russia and Poland, although both of Spelling’s parents were Jewish. Spelling’s family celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah while she was growing up. Her middle name comes from her paternal grandfather. She attended Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California but graduated from Harvard-Westlake School in 1990.

The BBC achieved a large share of the UK viewing figures for Friday's (April 29) ceremony, with a peak figure of 20 million tuning in to the corporation's broadcast of the Westminster Abbey service. More than 34 million people caught at least some of the Royal Wedding coverage through the BBC, including on its iPlayer service, reports BBC News. Sky News said it had a peak of 661,000 viewers at the start of the wedding ceremony, while BBC Two, Channel 4 and Five only made up 1 per cent of the audience as the nuptials began. William and Kate's service is now in the all-time top 10 programmes in the UK, but drew less viewers than the 1966 World Cup Final (32.3 million) and Princess Diana's funeral in 1997 (32.1 million).
