Suri Cruise with Katie Holmes NYC

Suri hopped in a New York taxi cab with her mom on July 25. Just a week after her visit with dad Tom Cruise — filled with helicopter rides and private cars — Suri is back to reality in NYC.

After her parents’ divorce, Suri Cruise‘s life with mom Katie Holmes in New York has been a far cry from the private life of luxury she was used to with dad Tom Cruise.

She even took a New York City taxi cab! Katie has been trying to give her 6-year-old daughter a normal life ever since their permanent move to New York, and the pair was recently spotted hailing a yellow taxi cab.

Just days before, the two flew back from Ohio — commercially! — where they were visiting Katie’s parents. Quite the contrast to Suri’s stay with Tom when he was in town for a visit. The Rock of Ages star swept his daughter away on a helicopter for a beach getaway to the Hamptons. What do YOU think of Katie and Suri taking a cab HollyMoms?
