Doris Day's music will begin streaming world-wide at 12:01 AM on April 3rd and continue throughout the broadcast day. However, beginning at 3pm NYT, a live stream will air with your host Keith Angstadt, veteran DJ whose career dates back to WHFV-TV, an affiliate of NBC-TV where Keith was the VP, General Manager, and Director of Technical Operations. All of this will be streaming world-wide from http://www.baltimorenetradio.com.

This celebration will honor and pay tribute to one of America's most beloved artists best known for her films and extensive recording accomplishments spanning five decades. In addition, Baltimore Net Radio will be giving away several copies of Day's soon to be released CD "With A Smile and a Song," courtesy of Sony Music, as well as the Turner Classic Movies (TCM) box-set inclusive of Calamity Jane, Please Don't Eat The Daisies, Love Me Or Leave Me, and Romance on the High Seas, courtesy of TCM . Doris Day was born on April 3, 1924 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She changed her last name to Day when she began performing on radio. She sang with several big bands before going solo in 1947. In the 1950s, she made a series of popular film musicals, including Calamity Jane (1953), and The Pajama Game (1957). Day is an advocate for animal rights and founded several organizations devoted to the cause.

Death sought for man accused of killing mom, half brother, Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty for a Nebraska man charged with killing his mother, throwing his 5-year-old half brother in a river and leaving his 11-month-old half brother in a dumpster. Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine said Monday that several aggravating factors exist in the case against Roberto Martinez-Marinero. Authorities say Martinez-Marinero surrendered to police Thursday and said he'd stabbed his mother, 45-year-old Jesus Ismenia Marinero. The 25-year-old man also said he had thrown Josue Ramirez-Marinero in the Elkhorn River and put Angel Ramirez-Marinero in the dumpster. Authorities found a body Monday that investigators believe is Josue, but a forensic examination will be conducted for confirmation. The boy's family has been notified.
