jennie garth divorce

jennie garth divorce, Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth have split, a rep for the actor confirms to JustJared.com.
The 38-year-old Twilight actor and his 39-year-old sweetheart, best known for her role on Beverly Hills, 90210, were married for 11 years before deciding to divorce.
“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children,” the couple said in a statement. “We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”
Peter and Jennie are the parents of three daughters: 14-year-old Luca, 9-year-old Lola, and 5-year-old Fiona.

Some two weeks after confirming his split from Jennie Garth, Peter Facinelli has officially filed divorce papers at a Los Angeles County Superior Court.

TMZ reports that the 38-year-old "Twilight" actor filed the papers on Wednesday night, citing "irreconcilable differences," with a request to have joint custody of their three young daughters. The divorce papers were filed on the same day Garth, 39, broke her silence on the split to People magazine.

"I was very resistant . . . I didn't want it to happen. It took me some time to come to peace with it," Garth told People, adding that Facinelli first wanted a divorce last fall, after 11 years of marriage.

On Mar. 13, the couple released a joint statement on their split.

"While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time," Garth and Facinelli said.As soon as the divorce was announced, rumors on Facinelli possibly cheating on Garth hit the airwaves, prompting the couple to release yet another statement. The website Scallywag & Vagabond claimed that Facinelli had been involved in a "torrid affair" with a woman in her late 20s, while Garth "played housewife for as long as she could." The affair allegedly took place in Vancouver, Canada, where Facinelli had been filming "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," the final chapter in the "Twilight" film series.

"There are rumors out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family. We just want to make it very clear -- there are no third parties involved," the couple said in a statement.

In her interview with People on Wednesday, Garth revealed that since 2010, her husband had been regularly commuting from Vancouver and New York City to their ranch home in California.

"He would do everything he could to fly back every weekend . . . it took a real toll on our marriage," she said.

Garth, who is perhaps best known for her role as Kelly on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and playing Amanda Bynes' older sister on the sitcom "What I Like About You," is gearing up for a new project, "Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country," a reality show that will premiere on CMT Apr. 20.

"I've gone through my darkest parts and I'm coming out of it . . . I'm okay. I don't know what the future holds, but then I've never been a planner. And maybe that's a good thing," Garth told People.

Garth and Facinelli, who first met on the set of a TV movie in 1996, are parents to Luca, 14, Lola, 9 and Fiona, 5. Just four days ago, the entire clan was photographed shopping together in Sherman Oaks, Calif., with Garth and Facinelli awkwardly looking in different directions.

According to TMZ, Garth is expected to legally change her name from Jennifer Facinelli back to Jennifer Garth.

We ask for privacy and respect during this time.
It is a pretty standard statement for a celebrity marriage that goes kaput. I have to say though I am sad by this news. I remember when they got married, when she was preggers with their first child on 90210, the original one. I really thought these two were going to go the distance if you know what I mean.
Peter and Jennie have three daughters Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5. They have been been married for 11 years which is apparently a lifetime in Hollywood. Another one bites the dust I guess. Here is wishing both Garth and Facinelli the best as they go through this very difficult situation.

Royal wedding more than 24.5 million UK viewers, Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Wedding was watched by more than 24 million terrestrial TV viewers in the UK, according to overnight estimates from industry body Barb. The BBC achieved a large share of the UK viewing figures for Friday's (April 29) ceremony, with a peak figure of 20 million tuning in to the corporation's broadcast of the Westminster Abbey service. More than 34 million people caught at least some of the Royal Wedding coverage through the BBC, including on its iPlayer service, reports BBC News. Sky News said it had a peak of 661,000 viewers at the start of the wedding ceremony, while BBC Two, Channel 4 and Five only made up 1 per cent of the audience as the nuptials began. William and Kate's service is now in the all-time top 10 programmes in the UK, but drew less viewers than the 1966 World Cup Final (32.3 million) and Princess Diana's funeral in 1997 (32.1 million).

Although this figure alone was enough to beat the 70 million streams achieved during the inauguration of US President Barack Obama in 2009, the wedding’s overall tally is likely to have been significantly higher when taking into account the millions watching via other live streaming services.
