Jill Zarin Promotes New Shapewear Line at Macy’s

Jill Zarin Promotes New Shapewear Line at Macy’s -Jill Zarin may not be returning to "The Real Housewives of New York" next season, but the opinionated redhead is certainly not fading away into obscurity. Her newest venture is the shapewear line Skweeze Couture, which she was busy promoting at Macys in NYC on Tuesday. Zarin, 48, told the crowd that the department store "is giving me the chance of a lifetime," before instructing her fans to "shop 'till you drop." She even got down on the store floor and helped some pick out the right style of shapewear to best suit their body type and their outfit. "I'm happy to help everyone here until the lights go out in the store," Zarin announced. "Beauty begins with a great foundation. And hopefully I'll make all your dreams come true, as well."Skweeze Couture is a collection of slips, briefs, shaper shorts, camisoles, and more designed to suck everything in and smooth it out -- and it comes in three strengths: tight, tighter, and tightest. Prices range from $20 for a pair of leggings to $75 for a corset, while sizes also run the gamut from small to 2XL. According to Zarin, her product line -- which she did research for by thumbing through old magazines -- was inspired by the 1940s. "Everyone loves this collection because of its authenticity to the old Hollywood style," she told Lord & Taylor, which also carries Skweeze. "I wanted to make sure that this collection was fashionable and made women feel confident and proud to show off their shapewear."

Zarin has also created a jewelry line, which will make its debut this spring. The collection is mostly chunky, brightly-colored baubles and they're named after important women in her life: her daughter, Allyson , mother Gloria, and sister Lisa. "As a woman on the go all the time, I try to make things simple," Zarin says of her jewelry line. "Accessorizing should be no exception. I was inspired to create a jewelry collection that offers beautiful, smart pieces that are versatile, good quality, and easy to wear."

Heidi Montag fake break-up

Heidi Montag fake break-up, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag—the whoriest of the famewhores, the most promotional of the promosexuals, the couple that took Paris Hilton’s famous-for-nothing vocation and turned it into a winking, nonstop enterprise—are careful to say that they have no regrets. Living a fake life for the sake of cameras worked for them for years. Until it didn’t. They’re broke and living at Spencer’s parents’ beach house in Santa Barbara because of the free rent; Heidi’s body and face are forever changed from plastic surgeries she now wishes she had not gotten; their relationships with friends and family are severely damaged; and they have found themselves largely unemployable, both on camera and off. We discussed these issues over lunch recently at the couple’s favorite restaurant, Don Antonio’s in West L.A., where I had interviewed them three years earlier when they were at the top of their game with MTV’s docusoap The Hills, working every lever of the celebrity i...
