Chris Rock Newt Gingrich Chris Rock reportedly flips out, While partying in Park City, Utah, for the Sundance Film Festival, comedian Chris Rock reportedly was ambushed by a “citizen journalist” who shoved a camera in his face and asked him a question about a GOP presidential candidate  Rock supposedly responded by smashing the videographer’s camera “so hard, it broke into pieces”

Don’t ask Chris Rock about Newt Gingrich. The comic destroyed a videographer’s camera at Tao at Sundance, the scene of a Google bash and Jonny Lennon’s 4am Funday soiree, in the early hours of Monday when he was ambushed with a string of political questions after being asked to pose for a picture. A spy tells us, “A guy walked up to Chris and his entourage and said, ‘Hey, could I get a photo of you with my girlfriend?’ When he turned around, he found a video camera in his face, asking him about Gingrich.” Another spy said: “Chris pushed the interviewer and grabbed the camera. He smashed it so hard, it broke into pieces. He cursed the guy for filming when he had asked them to stop.” Another witness said that after smashing the camera, Rock asked him, “Did you get your shot?” Security escorted the video guy out, and Rock left peacefully, we’re told. Rock’s rep declined to comment last night.

If you ask Chris Rock about Newt Gingrich, he will destroy your expensive equipment.

At an event at the Sundance Film Festival on Monday, Rock was posing for photos when a videographer asked him a question about the GOP candidate, the New York Post reports.

The comedian was none too pleased about the line of political questioning.

“Chris pushed the interviewer and grabbed the camera. He smashed it so hard, it broke into pieces. He cursed the guy for filming when he had asked them to stop,” a witness told the paper.

Maybe he prefers to answer questions about Mitt Romney?

The reporter was escorted out of the area, while Rock went on his way.

It appears that, bushy haired Chris Rock doesn’t like Newt Gingrich; or at least being asked questions about him.

Maybe it was the fact that it was 4AM? As part of the Sundance festivities Rock was at a late night event at Tao when he was unexpectedly hit with a bunch of political questions. The New York Post reports,

When rock turned around there was a video camera in his face, and someone asking him about Newt Gingrich. The Post reports then that,

He cursed the guy for filming when he had asked them to stop. ”Hmmm…… 4AM, you trick me into turning around, I’m probably a little drunk – I think I’m camera smashing too. If not, I at least understand. I’m sure it didn’t help that you were asking him about Newt “F’ing” Gingrich. At 4 AM after a party, there is only one question a guy wants to answer….Your place or mine?

Massachusetts beach brawl, A massive brawl broke out at Revere Beach, Massachusetts, on Sunday that involved between 100 and 200 people and had police from across the region rushing to the scene. The Mother's Day melee at the popular beach just north of Boston apparently started when two women began fighting, Mayor Dan Rizzo told NECN. He said their boyfriends joined the fight, which then snowballed into the brawl. The station reports that 12 people were arrested. WHDH reports that the brawl began over a stolen handbag. Royal wedding more than 24.5 million UK viewers, Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Wedding was watched by more than 24 million terrestrial TV viewers in the UK, according to overnight estimates from industry body Barb. The BBC achieved a large share of the UK viewing figures for Friday's (April 29) ceremony, with a peak figure of 20 million tuning in to the corporation's broadcast of the Westminster Abbey service. More than 34 million people caught at least some of the Royal Wedding coverage through the BBC, including on its iPlayer service, reports BBC News. Sky News said it had a peak of 661,000 viewers at the start of the wedding ceremony, while BBC Two, Channel 4 and Five only made up 1 per cent of the audience as the nuptials began. William and Kate's service is now in the all-time top 10 programmes in the UK, but drew less viewers than the 1966 World Cup Final (32.3 million) and Princess Diana's funeral in 1997 (32.1 million).
