Hef, ex in fight over puppy?, Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, 85, and former Playmate Crystal Harris, 25, reportedly are still dealing with the fallout from their broken engagement. Hefner says he told Harris she could keep the diamond ring and the Bentley that he gave her, if he could keep their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. HUGH Hefner and his former fiancee Crystal Harris are embroiled in a custody battle over their puppy, the Playboy mogul said.

When Harris ended her engagement to Hefner in June, he let her keep their Cavalier King Charles spaniel Charlie, but now he says he wants to keep the dog, People magazine reported.

"We both love the puppy," Hefner told People. "I told her if she wants to keep the ring and the Bentley, then maybe I can keep the puppy. I  we will work it out."

"The puppy's valuable, but not $100,000 worth," he added.

Harris, 25, became engaged to the octogenarian last December and the two were set to say "I do" in June at a televised wedding ceremony at the infamous Playboy Mansion.

Death sought for man accused of killing mom, half brother, Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty for a Nebraska man charged with killing his mother, throwing his 5-year-old half brother in a river and leaving his 11-month-old half brother in a dumpster. Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine said Monday that several aggravating factors exist in the case against Roberto Martinez-Marinero. Authorities say Martinez-Marinero surrendered to police Thursday and said he'd stabbed his mother, 45-year-old Jesus Ismenia Marinero. The 25-year-old man also said he had thrown Josue Ramirez-Marinero in the Elkhorn River and put Angel Ramirez-Marinero in the dumpster.
