Powerball winner Lottery ticket worth $245M
The winning Powerball ticket for a $254 million jackpot has been sold in Connecticut, and it's the largest prize ever in state lottery history.
The one ticket with all six winning numbers from Wednesday's drawing was sold at a still-undisclosed location in the state, and lottery officials are waiting for the winner to step forward. The jackpot winner can claim a $254 million annuity paid over 29 years or a lump sum of nearly $152 million in cash.
Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were 12-14-34-39-46, Powerball 36. There were nearly 2.3 million tickets with winning combinations sold nationwide, including about 29,000 in Connecticut.

One lucky ticket sold in Connecticut matched all the winning numbers in Wednesday night's $245 million Powerball drawing.
Wednesday night's winning Powerball numbers are: 12, 14, 34, 39 and 46.
The Powerball is 36 and the Power Play is 4.
If the winner chose the cash option, the jackpot would be worth $146.2 million before taxes.
Ten tickets sold in New Jersey matched four numbers and the Powerball. Those tickets are worth $10,000 apiece. Another 225 tickets sold in the Garden State contained four winning numbers. Each of those ticket holders wins $100.
Winning $200,000 were four Florida tickets, three each in New York and Illinois, two in Ohio, and one each in Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, and Wisconsin.
This is the largest jackpot since last August. The chances of winning the Powerball jackpot are about one in 195 million.
The only Powerball winner to come from the Garden State since the game debuted in New Jersey is Sandra McNeil of Morristown, who won an estimated $211.7 million in 2003.
Powerball is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
