Astro will be formally announce his new record deal on today's (January 18) episode of MTV 'RapFix Live' at 4PM ET.

The 15-year-old rapper was devastated when he was ousted from the comepition a couple of months ago, but it seems judge Reid couldn't let his talent slip away. Astro has already launched his career by featuring on Cher Lloyd's latest single Want U Back. Cher has also been signed by Reid to join the Epic rosta, while X Factor USA winner Melanie was signed last month.
